Kathryn Robson is an Emmy-nominated editor, writer, and producer with extensive experience across feature film, documentary, branded, and digital content. She has worked with Netflix, HBO, Amazon Studios, Marvel Entertainment, Disney-ABC Television, ESPN Films, Taco Bell, Bravo Media, and CBC Radio, bringing a strong command of story, structure, performance, pacing, and tone to projects of every scale.
Kathryn produced, edited, and co-wrote the Netflix feature documentary Circus of Books, for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing in a Non-Fiction Program. Her recent credits include A$AP Rocky: Stockholm Syndrome (Tribeca / Amazon Studios), Telemarketers (Elara Pictures / Rough House Pictures / HBO), winner of the 2023 Critics’ Choice Documentary Award for Best True Crime Documentary, Resynator (The Criterion Channel), winner of the 2024 SXSW Documentary Audience Award, and The Sexiest Man in Winnipeg (Electric Avenue / Amazon Prime Video).
A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, Kathryn brings strong research and analysis together with hands-on editorial craft. She has a particular strength in identifying where a story can enter the cultural conversation, expand the existing narrative frame, and connect with a wider audience by shaping material into narratives that are emotionally resonant, entertaining, and deeply human.
